"Embracing Gratitude and Finding Joy in the Present Moment"

Here's a refined version of your post:

Good Morning and Happy SunYay!

I woke up today searching for something I couldn’t find—a common theme in my life. Funny enough, as I’m writing this, I just found it! Life works in mysterious ways.

The day started on a bit of a low note, but after reading my yoga devotionals, everything shifted. They gave me a fresh perspective, filling me with joy, happiness, and gratitude.

I thought back to my 8 a.m. yoga class yesterday which welcomed 26 wonderful yogis—my biggest class ever! I feel so blessed to teach yoga. It fills me with purpose and happiness. While my life isn’t perfect, it feels perfectly suited for me, and that’s where I thrive—embracing gratitude and contentment.

Class was intense. I didn’t “do” my usual yogi practice and walked around a lot. It was mentally challenging and exhausting. To say I was happy is an understatement; my heart was full.

As we were wrapping up, one of my students mentioned how important it is to have an attitude of gratitude. I thanked him for always knowing the right thing to say. He told me he learned it from me! I don’t even remember saying it, but that moment reminded me of the beautiful exchange of energy that happens in class.

Teaching yoga and connecting with my students brings me immense joy. Yesterday’s full class was a heartwarming reminder of why I teach—to share my passion and joy with others. I had worried that my Saturday class might not continue after being sick, as I hadn’t been able to promote it during the week. But seeing so many people show up filled me with gratitude in the best way.

Life is beautiful, and I’m deeply thankful. Today, I read something (again!) that struck a chord: Everything we seek is already within us. Such a powerful realization, and one I want to live by. My plan is to embrace the stillness and see where it leads.

Be kind to yoursel and to others. We’ve got this! 💛
